Get out!

Introduction to my first Unity game!

Game Credit:

  • Samantha Padilla, Developer

Description:

  • You are in a room with monsters hiding in every corner, and all you want to do is GetOut. However, your only exit is locked. Search the room and find the key to open the door, and GetOut as fast as possible before the monster gets you. Good Luck!

How to play:

  • Use the arrow keys to move up, down, left, and right

  • Use the mouse to click around the room to find the key. Be careful, though. Where you believe the key is located, a monster could be there instead. You only have three lives.

  • When the key is obtained, walk and look for the secret door to leave the room safely

To-do Game:

  • For this game, you need to use your keyboard arrows to move around and the mouse to click around the game. The game's object is to find the key to escape the room without encountering any monsters. Walk towards the left nightstand, click it with your mouse you run into a monster. Which causes you to lose your heart. Click the bed, and you find the key and it goes into your inventory. When you click on the farthest door, the door will open. Use your keyboard to walk to the door and pass the level. Lose all three hearts, then you will be turned into a monster and be stuck in the room forever.

Issues:

  • Though the game is completed, there are some little bugs, starting with my little character. Currently, my character has too big of a border around him, so he can’t get too close to the furniture. After finding the key, the player is supposed to find a door however, when you get too close to the location of the door you get a pop-up saying you passed the level. When you are supposed to find the door first and then get the pop-up.
